Akshay Kumar loves fire. When he is not setting the box office on fire with his blazing opening numbers, he, occasionally, decides to pour inflammable items on himself and light up like a Diwali night in Delhi.
After all, the original Khiladi has to live up to his 'daredevil' image.
This time (oops!), Akshay did it again. On stage. At the launch of his upcoming venture with Amazon Prime Videos, The End. And although he wants us to trust him that this is only the beginning, we sincerely hope this is the end of the fire show.
Literally, all fired up for my association with @PrimeVideoIN’s THE END (working title). Trust me, this is only the beginning ????@JSalke @vikramix @Abundantia_Ent pic.twitter.com/BL2PS4iJPQ

The audience loved it. So did the makers of the show — given that Akshay Kumar and The End started trending on Twitter immediately after.
Wife Twinkle Khanna, however, wasn't very amused.
Crap! This is how I find out that you decided to set yourself on fire ! Come home and I am going to kill you-in case you do survive this! #GodHelpMe https://t.co/K7a7IbdvRN

Who's going to douse that fire, Akki?
Now that’s something I’d actually be afraid of ???? https://t.co/cqCqXDrbSs

Of course this was just friendly banter. No, Akshay 'Khiladi' Kumar doesn't get beaten up at home by his wife, this is not a commentary on the sad state of Indian men, or la-di-da. It. Was. A. Joke. And therefore, it is only apt for us to point out that Akki just got trolled by Twinkle.
Now that the trolling has started, why should tweeple hold back?
Some helpfully pointed out that Akshay had pulled a similar stunt close to 10 years ago when he was promoting a brand of denim. Guess we know who won the #10YearChallenge?

Others, though mighty impressed at Akki's consistent performance, were still quite concerned.
I remembered keemat when you set fire in your blue jeans to fight 7 fighters alone. What an action scene! It can only be performed by Akshay Kumar. This time fire got allover your https://t.co/ZLXrxdGv0S careful Akki. pic.twitter.com/fGvBuviBAz

But most woke tweeple just applied Akshay's casual fiery walk to everyday lives. And made poetry...
Ouch! Summer is coming, though!

Some got really poetic.

Others referenced another hot show about getting LIT in Suits.
(It was just waiting to be said, if you ask us).
Now that's what I call LIT! https://t.co/xyoMKTgDob

All good. But you know what we think?
That Akshay Kumar just promoted Kesari — on a stage set for The End.
Akshay Kumar is so productive. He is promoting Kesari and The End in one act. pic.twitter.com/7ZPFfrXqA1

But hold on!
Akshay's next with Rohit Shetty coincidentally is titled Sooryavanshi. But coincidence it is not. Of the sun, which means fire... get it? Yup, not two, but three birds — Kesari, Sooryavanshi and The End.
Now that's a true Khiladi!
