Asian Games 2018: India’s three sexiest male athletes

They’re winning medals, breaking records — and catching fans' eyes.

India’s athletes are winning us glory after glory at Jakarta 2018. A young, edgy, hugely talented squad, some have caught their fans’ eyes for the sheer sexiness that surrounds their talent!

We list the top three sexy Indian men at the Asian Games — those who are breaking records and making hearts race, even as they push forward with their clenched-jaw determination to win!

I. Manjit Singh, Champion Runner – The man with golden swag

Runner Manjit Singh landed India a most unexpected gold in the men’s 800-m sprint. Some observers claimed Singh’s last-minute dash, racing up from several spots behind, to overtake the leads and hit the finish line first, in a bloodied, utterly determined, ferocious dash, right in the death seconds, was thoroughly unexpected.

But for those who had noticed Singh’s swaggering good looks, the chiselled face, the insouciant stubble and those eyes full of (sporting, of course) fire — sorry. We knew he had what it takes.

No surprises when the scorcher blazed his way to number one. The ever-so-hot Manjit is an athlete many of us will be following, even as he races to new glory ahead.

II. Neeraj Chopra – Such a sharp boy

So, the baby-faced Neeraj Chopra shot out of nowhere to prove that boyish good looks can have a sharp edge too — and how.

The 20-year-old Chopra aimed his javelin straight at gold at the Asian Games and set a national record of 88.06 m too. He later told the press he wasn’t too fussed about pressure. “I knew my time would come,” Chopra coolly remarked.

So did the fans who had been watching the baby-faced hero swing his stuff. We knew that under that soft, cherubic face lurked a man with a dangerously sharp edge. Here’s to all that jagged sexiness hidden under Chopra’s smooth exterior.

III. Mohammad Anas Yahiya — Perfectly supple sprinting man

The 23-year-old runner has won silver for India at Jakarta’s 400-m race, clocking 45.69 seconds. Yahiya had earlier clocked 45.40 seconds elsewhere, the exact qualification mark for the Olympics, thus becoming only the third Indian male athlete, after Milkha Singh and KM Binu, to do so. Yes, the man can run. And we can barely keep our eyes off Yahiya’s litheness as he does.

More power to those amazing (athletic) legs and chiseled (sporty) arms.

Anytime Yahiya wants to take a breather, no doubt many fans will be happy to have an intimate sit-down with the dashing sprinter.
