Big Boss 11 blog: Salman Khan is right in pulling up Arshi and Vikas
Vikas wasn’t either spared from Salman Khan’s sharp words for making Arshi the captain
Big Boss host Salman Khan doesn’t mince words when it comes to evaluating the performance of the housemates, which explains why his weekly encounters with the housemates are full of surprises. And this Saturday (December 9), he was at his best when he chided Arshi for her misbehaviour with Shilpa.
Bigg Boss is actually watching everything
The relationship between Arshi and Shilpa has been bitter for quite some time now. But this week, it hit a new low as Arshi sought out excuses to fight with Shilpa. First, she spoilt a task, in which she finally won. Then, she accused Shilpa of misbehaving with her father. As Salman Khan raked up the issue on Saturday, Arshi kept on arguing with him. She even accused Salman of turning a blind eye to Shilpa’s faults. “The more you speak, the deeper you dig your grave,” Salman said. He also pointed out that Arshi changed after becoming the captain, and to the fact that the captain herself sometimes said, “I will spoil this task”. Arshi had actually said this during the luxury-budget task of “Statue”.
Salman is so right!

She was the most reticent housemate this week, being ousted from the captaincy task quite early. Only once was she seen in action, when she mocked Hina for crying her eyes out in front of boyfriend Rocky. She didn’t get provoked, and the rest was done by Arshi.

Salman slams Vikas for his choice of captain
Vikas too wasn’t spared Salman Khan’s sharp words, for making Arshi the captain. “For the first time, somebody who didn’t understand the game won the game and became the captain,” Salman said. Arshi tried to retort and thanked Allah for that. “Instead, you should thank Vikas and Hiten,” Salman said, asking Arshi if she could remember any task where she performed well.
Steering clear of the accusation of foul play in the captaincy task, Vikas said he had trusted Arshi more than Hina. He did not regret his decision. He also clarified that he didn’t support Arshi when she accused Shilpa of misbehaving with her father.
Gauri stands up for Hiten
Actor Gauri’s visit was supposed to be significant, as Hiten had become the eye of the storm last week. While the housemates were “frozen”, as part of the statue game, Gauri entered and comforted Hiten. She went up to Hina and slammed her for referring to her Diwali letter during the game. Unexpectedly, she had to leave very soon. Later, Bigg Boss allowed her to enter the house again; this time with their twins. She had an advice for her husband. “You are playing well. Speak up more. You need to think loud,” Gauri said to Hiten. Meanwhile, Hina sneaked in while they were talking, and said that outside the game, she and Hiten share a cordial relationship, exposing her insecurity!
What’s happening and what’s being telecast
The Bigg Boss house hosted a few unexpected visitors, including actor Karan Patel and ex-Bigg Boss contenstants Rohan Mehra and Karishma Tanna. Karan said Hina was coming across as a “fake” and “insecure” person. Karishma, too, said Hina should practise what she preached to her friends (Luv and Priyank). This prompted Hina and Arshi to speculate whether whatever is happening inside the house is being telecast, or whether a different narrative is being built around with selective portions of their activities being telecast. Otherwise, why did nobody mention Shilpa’s act of mocking Hina’s emotional outburst during Rocky's visit, the duo wondered.
